This is a RALLY Call

We are so so close to achieving health care reform in Connecticut with the SustiNet Plan. So here's my rally call to all of my grassroots friends out there in the universe.

From now until the end of Connecticut’s legislative session, OFC/OFA, HCAN, CCAG, AFL-CIO, UHCF, CT College Students, Interfaith Health Care Alliance and hundreds of other organizations and citizens across this state are uniting together to achieve health reform in Connecticut. No matter how much or how little time you have to spend, this is a grassroots effort and there is something for everyone. Here’s how you can get involved.

1. Help us tell our Senators and Representatives to vote Yes for SustiNet by hosting a:
  • Pledge Canvass/Tabling event in your neighborhood. The pledges will hand-delivered to the State Capitol. Details.
  • Letter writing house party to write our legislators and ask them to vote Yes for SustiNet.
  • Cell phone bank to call our legislators and ask them to vote Yes for SustiNet
  • Educate everyone on the merits of SustiNet via blogs, Face Book, Twitter, letters to editors and participate in radio talk shows. Details.
All the tools you need are on our Health Care Resource page, including event host guides, talking points, flier template, brief summaries, as well as the full SustiNet plan and more. This area is being updated daily to ensure that you have everything for a successful activity.

This kind of change will not take place if we "wait for some other time or some other person." Take Action Now.
